DnyanSetu
The live student-services platform for Chhatrapati Shivajiraje Mahavidyalaya — notes, papers, practice tests, scholarships, notices and a student Talent Corner in English and Marathi, installable with phone notifications. It brings the RaktSetu blood-donor network and CSM News Desk together under one account.

What it does
One bilingual (English and Marathi) portal for the whole college: faculty notes sorted by branch, semester and subject, past papers, tiered practice tests, scholarships with eligibility, notices and a Talent Corner for student work. It installs like an app and sends phone alerts.

How it works
- 01
One bilingual (English / मराठी) portal replaces the scattered places a student used to look: faculty notes sorted by branch, semester and subject, previous-year papers, and scholarships with eligibility and required documents.
- 02
Role-based accounts — student, faculty, staff, scholarship admin and main admin — with Google sign-in. Faculty and staff go live only after admin approval, then upload notes and papers and post notices from their own studio.
- 03
Practice tests run in three tiers — Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced — and clearing all three unlocks the final exam. Scoring runs in Vercel serverless routes, so the answer logic never ships to the browser.
- 04
Talent Corner: students share poems, shayari and creative work, with likes, comments, follows and admin moderation.
- 05
Installable as an app (PWA), with phone push alerts for new notices, notes, scholarships and posts; per-page SEO and a sitemap.
- 06
RaktSetu, the blood-donor network, runs as a module of the site: patients who need blood reach verified student and staff volunteers in the same city, matched on real red-cell compatibility — a request for A+ also reaches O−, O+ and A− donors.
- 07
RaktSetu's safety rules are built in: adults only, 45 kg minimum, a health check at registration, an automatic 4-month rest after a donation, and clear no-payment guidance. Alerts go out by push and Resend email; a daily Vercel cron expires old requests.
- 08
Supabase handles sign-in on Postgres with row-level security, so the database — not the browser — decides who can read and write what.
- React
- Vite
- Supabase
- Postgres + RLS
- Google sign-in
- Firebase → Supabase
- Vercel serverless
- Web Push
- Cloudinary
- Resend
